Coming to the Revolution March? Planning to camp lodge, but want to ensure that you will be lodging with fellow Ron Paul supporters? We have the PERFECT option for you!
Camp Mawavi, a Group Cabin Camping site, has been reserved for 140 attendees of the Revolution March!
Located inside Prince William Forest Park, approximately 30 miles south of DC in Triangle, Virginia, Camp Mawavi was built during the Great Depression as an overnight campground for underpriveleged youth. During World War II, the camp was used to house and train intelligence operatives for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), America's first intelligence agency!
Camp Mawavi is a large group camping area, with multiple rustic group cabins, a large "craft" lodge for gatherings, and a fire council ring! A dining hall with commercial-sized oven, stove top and griddle, walk-in refrigerator, large freezer, counters and a spacious area for group dining is available! Restroom facilities with hot showers and flush toilets are located centrally in the camp.
Included in your $20 ticket:
Shuttle to and from Franconia-Springfield Metro Station for those who are not going to be driving in to DC, or for those who will not have transportation to Camp Mawavi.
$5 Vehicle Fee - Park Entrance
Two nights rustic cabin lodging
S'mores on July 11 around the campfire
Breakfast on July 12 5am-7am
Breakfast burritos and coffee, milk or juice to-go
Breakfast on July 13 5am-6am
Assorted donuts and pastries and coffee, milk or juice to-go
Swimming: For our group to swim, we must have a certified lifeguard present. If you are a certified lifeguard and you plan to lodge at Camp Mawavi, please contact Susan Wolfe, Travel & Lodging Committee Chairman at travlodge@revolutionmarch.com
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the organizers! Otherwise, please pay your $20 per person lodging fee as soon as possible! There are only 140 spots, so when they're gone, they are gone!

Camp Mawavi Itinerary:
We must provide our own: Bedding, cookware, tableware, trash bags, soap, cleaning supplies, first aid supplies. Mops, buckets and brooms are provided. Swimming: For our group to swim, we must have a certified lifeguard present. At this time, we have not had someone contact us saying that they are a certified lifeguard so that our permit can be modified to include swimming. On arrival to Franconia-Springfield Metro Station, Campers will travel to L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station.
Note: Although multiple vans are available for shuttle, we will utilize the fewest miles possible by limiting the shuttle transportation to this schedule. Travelers should plan to adhere to this schedule, and be ready to depart the Metro or Campgrounds on time. Individual shuttles will run shuttle routes, unless there is clearly a high demand for transportation at a given time.
